Shipping Policy

Last updated: 14 October 2026

Crusader AV supplies IT accessories, audio-visual equipment, educational and business technology, furniture and related products to customers throughout the UK and, subject to confirmation, selected international destinations.

We aim to process orders promptly and provide clear information about delivery charges, estimated timescales and any issues that may affect delivery.

1. Order Processing

Orders are processed once payment has been authorised or cleared, unless alternative account or purchase order terms have been agreed.

Orders are subject to stock availability, supplier lead times and any product-specific requirements.

Orders placed after the applicable processing cut-off may be processed on the next working day. Working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and UK bank holidays.

An order confirmation does not necessarily mean that the goods have been dispatched. Dispatch and delivery dates remain subject to availability and the service agreed for your order.

2. Mainland UK Delivery

We deliver to mainland UK addresses using suitable delivery services for the size, weight and nature of the products ordered.

Where available, eligible orders may qualify for next-business-day delivery or dispatch when placed before 12 noon. Availability depends on stock, product type, order processing requirements and delivery destination.

Next-day delivery is not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed for your order.

Standard delivery timescales may vary by product. Some products are available from stock, while others may require additional time to be sourced from a manufacturer or supplier.

3. Large, Heavy and Palletised Deliveries

Large, heavy, oversized or specialist products may require palletised delivery or a specialist carrier.

These deliveries may take longer than standard parcel services. Palletised deliveries can require additional handling and may take 48 hours or longer, depending on the product, destination and carrier arrangements.

Some deliveries require a signature on receipt or an agreed delivery appointment.

Please ensure that the delivery address is accessible for the selected vehicle and that suitable arrangements are in place to receive large or heavy items. Any special access requirements should be communicated to us before dispatch.

4. Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Channel Islands

Delivery availability, charges and estimated timescales may differ for Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and the Channel Islands.

Additional charges may apply, particularly for large, heavy or palletised products.

Online delivery charges may not always reflect the final transport cost for these destinations. We recommend contacting our sales team before ordering to confirm the applicable charges and estimated delivery times.

5. Republic of Ireland and International Deliveries

Delivery to the Republic of Ireland and other international destinations is subject to confirmation.

Please contact our sales team for a delivery quotation before placing an order, particularly for large, heavy or specialist products.

International deliveries may be subject to import duties, customs charges, taxes and clearance requirements. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, these charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

International delivery times vary according to destination, customs processing, carrier availability and local delivery arrangements.

6. Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are calculated according to factors such as the destination, product dimensions, weight, quantity and delivery service.

For certain products or destinations, the final delivery charge may need to be confirmed by our sales team before the order is accepted.

If an additional delivery charge is required because the original online calculation was inaccurate or a specialist service is necessary, we will contact you to discuss the available options before proceeding where appropriate.

7. Delivery Delays

Although we aim to meet the estimated delivery times provided, delays may occasionally occur.

Common causes include:

  • Stock shortages or stock discrepancies.
  • Manufacturer or supplier delays.
  • Special-order or made-to-order products.
  • Large, bulky or palletised shipments.
  • Courier capacity, routing issues or transport disruption.
  • Severe weather conditions.
  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery information.
  • Customs checks and international shipping requirements.

If we become aware of a significant delay, we will endeavour to provide an update and explain the available options.

Depending on the circumstances, you may be able to wait for delivery, choose an alternative product or cancel the affected order where permitted by the contract and applicable law.

For more information, please see our Causes of Order Delays page.

8. Multiple Deliveries

An order may arrive in multiple consignments where products are supplied from different locations, manufacturers or warehouses.

This may mean that different items from the same order arrive on different dates.

Where applicable, we will provide available dispatch or tracking information to help you follow your delivery.

9. Delivery Address and Failed Deliveries

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and appropriate contact details.

We are unable to deliver to PO Box addresses where the selected delivery service requires a physical address.

If a delivery cannot be completed because the address is incorrect, access is unavailable or the recipient is not available, a redelivery may be required. Additional charges may apply where permitted by the applicable contract and law.

If you anticipate access restrictions, limited delivery hours or special unloading requirements, please notify us before dispatch.

10. Checking Your Delivery

Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably practicable after receipt.

If goods are damaged, faulty, incomplete or incorrect, contact us promptly with your order number and details of the issue. Photographs may help us investigate.

We request that visible damage, shortages and incorrect deliveries be reported preferably within seven days of receipt. This helps us investigate issues with our carriers and suppliers but does not restrict your statutory rights.

11. Risk and Responsibility

For consumer purchases, risk generally passes to the consumer when the goods come into their physical possession, or that of a nominated person other than the carrier, subject to applicable law.

For business purchases, risk passes in accordance with the agreed contract and applicable delivery terms.

Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts any statutory consumer rights relating to delivery, cancellation, faulty goods or refunds.
