Cause of Order Delays

At Crusader AV we know how important it is for you to receive your order on time and in geat condition. While we do everything we can to deliver smoothly and promptly, sometimes delays can happen. Below are the most commong reasons orders are delayed and what it means for you

1. Stock Availability

Some products may show as available online but are temporarily out of stock at our warehouse or supplier. If this happens:

• We will notify you with updated delivery information
• You may choose to wait, change the item, or cancel the order

2. Supplier Lead Times 

Certain items - especially large, bespoke, or specialist AV producst - are made to order or shipped from our suppliers. These can take longer than standard delivery timelines

3. Large or Bulky Items

Oversized or palletised deliveries often require special handling and carrier scheduling. This means:

• Delivery may take longer than standard parcels
• A specific delivery window may be arranged in advance
• Items may arrive separately from other parts of your order

We will keep you updated if your order includes bulky items and provide tracking where possible

4. Adverse Weather Conditions

Severe weather can impact transport networks and courier services. In these cases:

• Deliveries may be delayed beyond estimated timeframes
• Safety is prioritised for drivers and recipients
• We will aim to keep you informed or any expected disruption

5. Carrier Delays

We use a range of trusted couriers to deliver your parcels. Occassionally:

• Courier capacity or routing issues can delay an item
• Tracking may show a later delivery date than orginally estimated
• We will always assist in tracking and resolving delays

6. Incorrect or Incomplete Delivery Information

Please make sure the delivery address provided is

• Complete, correct, and accesible
• Not a PO Box (Signature is often required)
• Covered by the delivery service selected

Incorrect or incomplete details can cause failed delivery attempts and further delays

7. Customs or Import Delays (International Orders)

For orders outside the UK:

• Customs checks can delay delivery times
• Import duties or clearance requirements may apply
• These factors are outside our control, but we can help with information if needed
