Recyling & WEEE Policy
This policy outlines our approach to recycling and compliance with the UK Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations.

WEEE Regulations
The WEEE Regulations require businesses to ensure that electrical and electronic equipment is disposed of in a way that prevents harm to the environment and human health
Electrical equipment covered by WEEE includes (but is not limtied to):
- Projectors, displays and monitors
- Audio equipment
- Video conferencing hardware
- Control systems and accessories
- Cables and power supplies
Equipment marked with the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol, must not be disposed of with general waste
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring that any equipment they own is disposed of in line with WEEE regulations unless a removal or recyclying service has been agreed as part of a project
Data Security
Where equipment may contain stored data, Crusader AV will take steps to ensure data is handled securely. Customers are advised to remove or back up data prior to disposal unless secure handling has been agreed.
